Well prepared for retirement
Switzerland’s pension provision system is based on a three pillar concept. Pillar 1 comprises Old-Age and Survivors’ Insurance (OASI) and Disability Insurance (DI). Pillar 2 consists of occupational benefits insurance, i.e. pension funds. Pillar 3 comprises private and voluntary pension provision. As you grow older, you begin to spend more time thinking about whether you will have enough money to live on after you retire. Regardless of your current age, you can use the pensions portal on myAXA to look up the amount of the pension or lump sum you are likely to receive when you turn 65. You can even simulate early retirement and what financial impact it would have with just a few clicks.
It’s easy to quickly take a look at your pension fund certificate, find out more about your benefits after you retire and about the conversion rate and simulate what your potential pension situation will look like using various scenarios. And you can even request to see what your pension provision looks like in each of the three pillars.
