Modular employee benefits – tailored to your needs

Swibeco’s benefits program is easy to understand and can be personalized. You decide which offers you’d like to give your staff: 

  • Permanent staff discounts: You and your employees benefit from preferential conditions in a network of more than 250 top Swiss cooperation partners. Swibeco negotiates the terms for you. ​ 
  • Swipoints reward system: Whether for birthdays, service anniversaries, Christmas, or company milestones – reward your staff with Swipoints. Your team can use them on this platform to spend as they wish, easily and tax-free for both parties. ​ 
  • Additional Swibeco Card module – Switzerland’s biggest canteen: With the Swibeco Card, you also help with your employees’ meal costs. Your team can use it to pay at more than 35,000 restaurants, delivery services, and food stores in Switzerland. Also, as an employer, you can contribute up to CHF 180 per month as a subsidy without this being taxed as income. The Swibeco Card includes additional flexible benefits, such as mobility, the half-fare card from Federal Railways and health benefits. These additional benefits are only available in Switzerland. 

Preferential terms for AXA customers

All AXA corporate customers receive a 25% discount on Swibeco annual usage and license fees.

If you have daily sickness benefits insurance or an occupational benefits solution with AXA, the use of Swibeco is included. For up to 200 employees in the case of daily sickness benefits insurance, and for all employees, including retired employees, in the case of an occupational benefits solution.

  • How can I use Swibeco and Swipoints for employee benefits?

    As an employer, you can offer the Swibeco benefits platform to your employees. Your team will find permanent employee discounts from over 250 providers on the benefits platform. You also have the opportunity to add your own offers, or to hide offers you would like to exclude.

    In addition, you can give your employees tax-free fringe benefits by means of Swipoints. You buy Swipoints for your company via the platform and can then transfer them to your employees,  such as for special achievements, birthdays and anniversaries, or as annual fringe benefits.

    Your employees then spend the Swipoints on the offer that suits them best.

  • Why should I offer my employees Swibeco, Swipoints and a Swibeco Card?

    A shortage of qualified staff and inflation are two of the biggest challenges facing SMEs and their employees. Fringe benefits like employee incentives are a good way to attract new talent and retain current employees. With Swibeco, AXA offers you a platform for staff discounts that enables you to keep up with the employee benefits offered by large companies.

    As well as staff discounts, you have the opportunity to reward your employees with Swipoints. You can boost your employees’ salaries by up to CHF 500 in Switzerland and up to CHF 1,000 in Liechtenstein a year tax free, thereby increasing their purchasing power.

    In addition, with the Swibeco Card you can offer your employees discounts on meals in Switzerland’s biggest canteen. Subsidize your employees by up to CHF 180 per month, free of tax. Your employees can use the Swibeco Card at over 35,000 restaurants, food stores and delivery services. This offer is only available in Switzerland.

  • Do Swipoints have to be stated on the salary statement?

    Recurring gifts of up to CHF 500 per employee do not have to be shown on the salary statement. For tax purposes this is regarded as a gift, regardless of whether you offer it in the form of Swipoints or other gifts.

    If you make recurring gifts of over CHF 500 to your employees, these must be declared in the salary statement as a salary component.

  • I have already negotiated discounts with partners in my company, what happens with those?

    You can also use Swibeco to make your own in-house deals accessible to your employees.

  • What happens with competitors’ discounts that my employees are not supposed to see?

    You can hide offers for your employees under the “Blacklist” section. 

  • Are Swibeco benefits also available in Liechtenstein?

    Whether a discount or special deal is available in Liechtenstein depends on that specific partner. Availability is noted in the description of the special offer. Please note that the additional benefits offered by the Swibeco Card are not applicable in Liechtenstein.
