High-school graduates

You have completed high school and acquired your baccalaureate – or are you about to take your exams? Are you ambitious and want to enter the world of work? AXA, the leading insurance company in Switzerland, offers you a solid program of training with individual support.

Practical training for high-school graduates

Our special training for high-school graduates lasts 18 months and starts every September.  You will learn about three different specialist areas at AXA which you are free to choose yourself. Each of these three stages lasts six months: during this period, you will have the chance to get involved in a project, actively work on developing it and take responsibility for sub-areas. In addition, you will attend various in-house insurance and specialist training courses at AXA as well as the vocational college of the Vocational Training Association (VBV). After successful completion of this program, you will receive the title Young Insurance Professional which is highly regarded in the entire industry and will open many doors for you.

What we expect from you:

  • Academic baccalaureate (Gymnasium), trade school graduate with vocational matura (HMS plus), or basic vocational training with vocational matura
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Strong interest in insurance
  • Enthusiasm, motivation and reliability
  • Team skills

Your activities during training depend on the main area in which you are working. Typical tasks are the organization of events, assisting in the development of insurance products, generating project plans, and administrative activities.
