Video consultation

Join us in embracing a new digital consultation age. Over a cup of coffee or tea, we will discuss all the key questions in a personal meeting via video and in so doing lay the foundations for the future.

Arrange an appointment

Three steps to your video consultation

Step 1: Reach out to us and request a video consultation appointment.

Step 2: You will receive the invitation to the video consultation via e-mail, along with all the links and information you will need.

Step 3: Just before the appointment is scheduled to start, click on the link in the e-mail. You are now ready to go. Have any papers or documents you will need for the discussion at hand, such as your insurance contract (policy), tax statement for a pension consultation, etc.

You can of course contact one of our AXA agencies at any time or your personal advisor directly – the easiest way to do this is to arrange an appointment via the myAXA  customer portal.

How does a video consultation work?

  • A computer/laptop, tablet or smartphone?

We suggest that you use a laptop or desktop computer for the video consultation as the bigger screen is more user friendly than a tablet or smartphone.

    Please note:

    • To ensure an uninterrupted connection, it is important that your internet connection delivers sufficient bandwidth. The more bandwidth you have, the faster we can transmit data to you, and vice versa. For example, if you often watch videos that load rapidly and run seamlessly and without interruption, your video consultation will also run without a hitch.
    • The camera and loudspeaker integrated into your computer/laptop are generally sufficient.  If you have an external webcam and headphones, you can use them for better quality.
  • Open the e-mail containing the invitation and click on the link.
    • You will be prompted to install the Skype for Business plug-in. The video connection will only work with this software. Registration is not necessary. Let your web browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge) guide you through the installation. You will then be able to take part directly via your web browser if you haven't already downloaded the Skype web app in advance.
    • You can switch the camera and microphone on and off under "Settings".
  • Start the video consultation.

Enter your name and dial in as a guest. Your video consultation can now begin.
