The tragic fire in Crans-Montana has affected a large number of people. AXA Switzerland is working closely with the authorities and other involved parties to fulfill its duty, provide help as quickly as possible (including immediate, free assistance for those affected), and show solidarity.

The horrific fire that broke out in a bar in the early hours of New Year's Day claimed 40 lives and injured a further 116 people, some of them severely. Many family members, people who were caught up in the fire, and friends – among them AXA customers – are also affected. AXA has set up a point of contact for them that will answer questions about insurance benefits and arrange support through Care and Case Management.
