Modern benefits offering
The Board of Trustees is committed to state-of-the-art occupational benefits provision that takes account of the individual needs of its insureds. Our insureds can already tailor the amount of their retirement and partner pensions and the individual order of beneficiaries for death benefits to their individual circumstances. Now the Board of Trustees has also decided to introduce a new pension model with capital protection, which provides a lump-sum payment to surviving dependents in the event of the death of a pensioner. The introduction of the new model is planned for summer 2027. More detailed information on the new model will follow in fall 2026.

Interest on 2025 retirement assets: 5.0%
Thanks to the positive investment performance in recent months and based on the interest rate model, the Board of Trustees has decided to pay an attractive interest rate of 5.0% on the retirement assets of insureds for 2025.
The Board of Trustees has also decided to allow pensioners to benefit directly from last year’s positive investment performance. In spring 2026, eligible pensioners will receive a one-time payment of up to two months’ benefits in addition to their pension. The pensioners eligible for this will be informed personally. The allocation and amount of the one-time payment depends, among other things, on the year of retirement and the conversion rate applied.
