In the fall of 2016, AXA discontinued surveillance in the social insurance area due to an insufficient legal basis. Parliament has now created the legal basis for such surveillance.
In accordance with the legal basis for surveillance in the social insurance area, AXA can, in the interest of all honest customers, investigate suspected cases of fraud in order to protect the interests of the premium payers. AXA will use surveillance only as a last resort in adherence to strict principles.
