Standard rate for car charging at swisscharge.ch

As an AXA customer with a motor vehicle policy, you can charge your electric car anywhere in the Swisscharge network at the standard price.

The advantage: Prices will no longer vary from charging station to charging station. No monthly subscription fees - you only pay for what you charge.

In order to promote electromobility, AXA is subsidizing the standard rate with 10 cents per kWh until June 30, 2024.

Current standard charging price (including AXA discount):
AC: CHF 0.37/kWh + 1.20/hour
DC: CHF 0.58/kWh + 0.25/minute, starting at 61 minutes

The standard price applies to the Swisscharge network, but not to charging stations from other companies (roaming stations). Swisscharge will notify you if the standard price changes. You can always check the latest applicable price in the Swisscharge app.

Requirements for registration:

a current motor vehicle policy with AXA for an insured electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle (an application does not qualify).
valid credit card: you must have a credit card (VISA / Mastercard) stored on file with Swisscharge. Your credit card will be charged at the end of every month for your car charging.

1Your personal information

We recommend that you buy an RFID charge card for CHF 10. This card lets you charge your car even if there’s no cell service. These charges will appear on your first monthly bill for your credit card.

Next, you will receive an email from swisscharge.ch so you can complete the registration process.

By clicking SEND, you agree to the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) set out by swisscharge.ch and give AXA permission to submit your personal data to swisscharge.ch to register you.
