Data entry and processing

I hereby agree to data processing in accordance with the data processing clause under Art. 3 of the Insurance Contract Act.

I agree that in connection with reviewing applications and handling claims AXA can pass on to other insurers and the authorities the necessary data it obtains from application or contract documents in order to assess the risk and establish entitlement to benefits, and that it can obtain the necessary information from them.

I hereby expressly declare that I am aware that the application summary will be sent electronically by email over the internet. I am aware that the internet may not be secure and that sending email generally involves data networks that are difficult to control. For this reason there is a risk that unauthorized parties may be able to access information and view and possibly also change the sender's email address.

AXA accepts no responsibility and rejects all liability

  • for the security of your data during transmission over the internet
  • if a third party changes, inspects, accepts, uses or sells the data that you or AXA entered
  • for malfunctions in the internet, imported data of any kind (infection by a virus, etc.), and in connection with links from and to other web sites

To simplify administrative procedures, AXA Group companies operating in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein grant each other access to basic contract data (excluding health data), to an overview of the claims, and to client profiles. AXA uses this data also for marketing purposes. If you do not wish AXA to do so, please contact us at info@axa-winterthur.ch or call 0800 809 809 (AXA's 24-hour phone).
